Hai for Model Number DV42H5200EW/A3-0000 My dryer with no heat I was replace thermal cut out then run 3 day and then no heat. Today I was replace thermal cut out dc96-00887a and thermostat dc47-00018a is run 2 hours and no heat again. Now I use voltmeter to check dc96-00887a is bad again. My question do you know what happened?
Answer Hello Hai, The thermal fuse is opened by high temperature. This is the only thing that will open it. For this reason, you should check for an air flow issue. This is normally caused by the home ductwork being crimped, clogged, or excessively long and/or complicated, (too many elbows).
