Bill S for Model Number DV419AEW/XAA-0000

I have replaced all my sensors, control board and my dryer has heat but will not shut off when it reaches 1 minute on the manual and sensor dry, I have also replaced the PCB display and it stay running, so now Im back to square one, the dryer is a good dryer and of course I will be keeping it due to completely overhauling it. So could it be my Thermostat I replace it back 6 months ago when I replaced the heating element, I have check everything with my OHMS meter and I cannot solve this issue.

Answer

Bill, With having the control board replaced already then it would be recommended to check the wiring to the thermistor and test the thermistor for being good. If these check ok then it would be more likely a issue with the control board. Make sure that you check all wiring for bad contacts or shorted.
