G Powers for Model Number DV431AEP Samsung clothes dryer

I replaced the heating element two months ago when the element broke. It worked fine for two months and now we have no heat again. This time the thermal fuse on the heating assembly melted. I’m aware I need to replace it, but what other parts should be replaced? Specifically concerned that the last two problems are being caused by something else... maybe on the blower? Also, the dryer line is clear and a very short three foot run to the outdoors. Thanks in advance.

Answer

G Power, You will want to check the venting of the unit to make sure that the vent is clear from the lint trap to the outside of the home. A restricted vent can cause overheating issue. Also it may be a good idea to change the hi limit thermostat also.
