John for Model Number NE58K9430SS/AA The cooling fan, that keeps the glass top cool, is running constantly. First noticed it 2 hours after using a range burner. Obviously, the unit had cooled to below 280 (per Samsung). I can turn off the main breaker to Oven, which works temporarily. Fan restarted w/o using range later in the day.
Answer John, You're on target, the air guide thermostat DE47-20037A controls power to the cooling fan, above the 280 dgr. setting it closes and sends power to the fan to cool the top and controls, you'll need to check or replace the thermostat. You'll need to raise the cooktop assembly and burners to access it. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Wednesday, September 6, 2017
