Lan for Model Number RS2545SH/XAA my refrigerator is blowing hot on the fridge side, but is cold on the freezer side. my neighbor put a meter to the temp sensor and it did not read anything. i was wondering if that is where i should start out with first to see if that would fix the problem?
Answer Lan, There should be a resistance reading through the temperature sensor. At room temperature (71-75 dgrs). the resistance should be 5621 to 5225 ohms resistance. Recheck and reset your meter to the proper selection, if you still read an "open" circuit(no resistance) then replace the sensor and check the wiring and connections. Read More...
