Devin B. for Model Number Rf197acrs The fan is still not running. My understanding is it should start right up at start up or shortly there after? What should the 3 line voltages be? I'm reading around 40v per terminal where the fan plugs in. I'm also reading only 107 ohms thru the thermostat sensor at room temperature and open on the thermostat that sits behind the evaporator coils (also at room temperature). Does those parts control the fan motor? Unit is completely defrosted and drained as it has been sitting unplugged with the doors open for 2 days.
Answer Hello Devin, Have a pen and paper ready to write down the fault codes and perform the following: Press the Pwr Freeze—Pwr Cool buttons simultaneously for 8-12 seconds (No sound when both buttons are pressed at the same time) until the display quits blinking. Release the buttons and read Fault Codes. This will also cancel the Fault Mode created by self-diagnosis at power up. The resistance of the sensor does not sound correct but it is unclear which you are testing. We could send you some technical information if you could post a new question and include a valid e-mail address. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Saturday, December 31, 2016
