Richard for Model Number DMT 800 RHS I'm getting a 5E code. The Samsung washer starts and then stops and the error code appears on the panel and water is left in the sump, after trouble shooting I found that the neck of the Drain Check Valve AP5331254 is twisted, but still appears to be functioning. I plan to order a new one and replace it. The Drain Hose AP4981888 was obstructed near the end where it enters the Brake with a piece of grey plastic (from the deteriorated upper basket height adjuster) and a small flapper valve, 3/4" in diameter with a torn tab 1/8" high x 7/16" wide, with a 1/8" x 1/16" rectangular hole in behind the plastic. These pieces were dislodged when I flushed the hose with tap water. I'm unable to identify where this 3/4" flapper comes from, it's part number and if it's replaceable. Thanks
Answer Hello Richard, The drain check valve DD66-00045A fits inside the sump assembly. You will need to access it from inside the dishwasher by disassembling the pump from the inside of the dishwasher tub. It will be located below the sump cover DD63-00099A. Read More...
