Ken for Model Number MAV7000AWW I stand corrected on my comment about the screws that come with the bearing kit where I stated they are for the bottom of both bearings. The screws shown in the picture thread into both the top and bottom of the plastic upper bearing housing. Four goes on top side and three on the bottom side. The screws in question P/N AP2900138 (Part 3400504)threads into the aluminum hub shown in the kit. However these screws do not come with that kit.
Answer Ken, Ok, The easiest way to remember is the three black screws, hold the bearing and housing to the tub support from underneat. The four silver screws are used to mount the outer tub assembly to the bearing housing from the top. You're also correct, the tub mounting bolts WP3400504 do not come with the seal/bearing kit W10219156, you " re use" the original tub mounting bolts. If you need the bolts, you have the correct part number WP3400504 / MPN 3400504, the parts picture is incorrect in the APP web page. Thanks for the clarification Read More...
