Bill for Model Number MSD2756DEW My icemaker fill tube was frozen up, so when water came to it pressure build-up caused the outside inlet tube to slip out of the filler connector. Removed icemaker fill tube; thawed it out and reinstalled. Now I find that the icemaker tray is not fully filling all at one time. Is this normal, or should the water valve stay open until the tray is completely filled.
Answer Bill, The water filter tray should fill to about 2/3 full and if it is not filling that much then look for icicles and make sure that the fill tube is positioned properly in the ice cup. The other cause would be a faulty water valve since the fill tube froze over which would be caused by a seeping water valve. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, October 25, 2016
