Stephen for Model Number asd2620hrz I replaced water inlet valve. I can get no water to the icemaker. I have made sure no line or tank was frozen. I have water to the door. What should I try next?
Answer Hello Stephen. You will need to test and see when the icemaker cycles, if it sends power to the water valve. Also, make sure the fill tube going to the icemaker is not frozen. The only way to check this is to remove the fill tube, or blow through the water line going to the icemaker. If the line is clear, and there is no power to the valve, replace the icemaker. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter.
