Terry for Model Number SF325PEEWO I have a gas range. I have been having problem with it taking longer time than it should to bake. pre-heat to 350, counts down time. when baking should take 12- 17 minutes, will have to add 5 more minutes, then add 3-5 more minutes more. looked in bottom broiler, gas and egniter both on. now oven will not preheat at all. Is it the oven sensor bad? Thank you
Answer Terry, Yes it could be a faulty oven temp. sensor WP8053344, especially if the started to occur after a self clean cycle, but your range doesn't have that option. So, the more likely issue is a weak or intermittent oven igniter 4342528 these account for 95% of heating issues in gas ranges. Read More...
