Allen for Model Number KitchenAid Model KUDP01IL Water does not enter into tub. Float and input valve/solenoid appear OK. Voltage to input valve/solenoid is 102VAC. Should it be 120VAC? Does that mean that one of the relays is bad on the main board (Whirlpool 8267371 AP3775964)? If it is a bad relay, can you identify which of 3-relays the bad one is? Thanks, --Allen
Answer Allen, Power to the fill valve solenoid (120 VAC) is supplied through the K3 relay on the control board, on the blue/black wire, down to the float switch, through the float switch and into the solenoid coil. The brown wire at the solenoid is routed up to the control board to the P2pin3 wire and completes the circuit to the neutral leg through the control board circuitry at the P7 white wire. Due to libility and safety reasons the manufacturer and APP Do Not reccomend you attempt to rebuild or repair a printed circuit board. At 102 VAC to the fill valve, check and make sure there are no loose wires or connections in thw wiring we mentioned and repalce the control board if all's OK. Thanks and Good Luck Read More...
