When the plunger reaches the maximum upper limit the motor continues and doesn't shut off. The directional switch tests OK for continuity and the switch lever appears to function properly.
Answer Hello Charlie, If the directional switch WP777811 actuator arm is not bent and rusty, the issue is most likely a bad motor switch.
