Christie for Model Number WFW79HEBW0 Have been receiving Sud and follow-on F9/E1 codes all summer (not with every load, but it's was becoming more frequent). Took washer apart to check drain pump filter and found two coins and some residue. Pump looked fine. Took the time to clean out the drain boot between tub and pump as well as internal and external drain hoses. This helped for about 2 weeks and now I am getting the error codes again. Washer is not draining. What do I try next? New pump - even though the existing sounds like it's working.... ? New water level sensor? Would the vent hose have anything to do with this? Need advice please. Thank you.
Answer Christie, based on the information provided, it is likely that there is a suds residue inside of the tub that may be activating when a cycle is started. The suds can usually be seen by starting an empty cycle and observing the suds start forming within a few minutes. The cleaner Affresh W10549845 can be used to clean the suds residue. When suds occur, as they do not drain out with the water, when they break down they will leave standing water. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, September 9, 2019
