Jerry for Model Number GMC305PDT6 The oven off/cancel button fails to turn the oven off. All keys, when depressed, produce a beep tone, however the off/cancel button does not. Do I need to replace the control panel/membrane? Also, I notice a connector that apparently is not used in my model. It is laying on top of the microwave oven. It is a molex style with two wires, a red and a blue. Is this perhaps an option that I don't have? Thanks
Answer Hello Jerry. Yes, it sounds like the control panel WP8300435 is bad and will need to be replaced on the unit. As for the connector, if the unit is working good, then it may be a testing point or like you said, a feature your model does not have and is not needed.
