Ken September 23, 2020 for Model Number GBD307PDS09 Control panel has no display. Timer can be set, oven light can be turned off and on from panel. All controls to turn on the oven only beep. If you turn power off at electric box and then back on you can hear noise coming from behind the control panel. The oven can then be turned on. The element gets warm and you can hear the fan. Then turns off after about 10 seconds. Just need to know what we think may need to be repaired. Thank You
1 Answer Hello Ken, the display driver circuit is part of the control board and has failed, the repair would be a new control board, WPW10438751, however, it is no longer available from the manufacturer. The 10 sec shut off usually means there is a faulty keypad WP8300440 however with no display to go by its not possible to view a fault code or alert in the display. Read More...

Jeff January 26, 2020 for Model Number RBD305PDQ15 My Whirlpool double oven started beeping randomly in the middle of the night. The beeps sounded like a touch beep. Selecting "clock", the minutes kept counting up, like you were continuously pressing the minute adjustbutton. Any advice? Is part AP6012603 the likely culprit here? Thank you.
1 Answer Jeff, the most likely issue would be that the key is stuck in the keypad panel assembly. The control panel assembly WP8300435 would indeed be the culprit based on the information provided. Read More...
Daria September 30, 2019 for Model Number RBD305PDB8 My whirlpool double oven indiscriminately turns on and beeps incessantly with no patter. It will begin to beep in the middle of the night, asking me to choose tempature or time or start or stop. It asks for time or top or bottom. The thing just goes rogue like it's haunted. When it's hot it seems to ask to be programmed again for temperature, timer, cook time, etc. we finally had to turn off the breaker. It never displays any error codes. Is this a membrane/button issue or is it a motherboard problem?
1 Answer Hello Daria, this points to a failing keypad/switch membrane, the replacement part is WP8300435. Read More...
Mj March 26, 2019 for Model Number RBD305PDB12 My double oven (Whirlpool RBD305PDB12) randomly shuts off, sometimes during use and sometimes while sitting idle. What is the most likely component at fault? Thank you.
1 Answer MJ, whenever it goes off, does any light work in the oven? Check the power connection at the oven to make sure the red, black, and white wires are tight. If the connection is good and voltage is not dropping to the oven, you would need the oven control, part number is 8302967, unfortunately, it is no longer available and there is no substitute being offered as a replacement. Gary July 10, 2018 for Model Number RBD305PDB12 Turned oven on, errors F2 E3 showed on panel. Only the broiler (top) element stayed on, even though we cancelled / turned off the oven. Only way to stop was to cut power at the breaker box.
1 Answer Gary, the relay on the control board is not opening up to shut off power to the top element, you will need the main control board, 8302967 Read More...
Paul July 08, 2018 for Model Number RBD305PDS12 Have model # RBD305PDS12. Upper and lower ovens both intermittent (dead), ie, they both completely die for 1 hour up to two weeks; when coming back to life, oven beeps, then shows error codes E6 / F2. I then push either start or bake and both ovens work for undetermined amount of time(shortest - 15 min / longest 3 days)...What do I do or replace ??
1 Answer Paul, This error F2 E6 will be a cancel key drive line open and will need a keypad for the unit. The part number is WP8300435. Read More...

Shawn February 13, 2018 for Model Number RBD305PDS14 Screen began to dim. Now almost completely dark. Can still make out numbers at an angle, but very dim. Unit works fine, and still gets to temperature. We used it enough to enough to know the button sequence to pre-heat. All buttons work fine and no error beeping seems to be occurring. Advice was to replace transformer. I did. No effect. I then bought the control panel - it does not appear to even have an LCD in it. Which part has the LCD? I don't think replacing the panel will have any effect either. Intend to return and get part with display panel. Please advise.
1 Answer Hello Shawn. You will need to order and install WPW10438751 into the unit. Thank you. Read More...
