Hello Linda. Disconnect the power going to the unit. Then remove the screws holding the side trim pieces in place and remove the side trim. Next remove the screws on the bottom corners of the control panel. Remove the screws holding the oven in place and pull the oven out about 3 to 4 inches. Lift upward on the control panel and unplug the wires going to the panel. Reinstall with the new control panel WP8300435 in reverse order. Hope this helps.
