Brandon for Model Number rbd305pdb15 I have a whirlpool double oven model rbd305pdb15. Screen is off however buttons still make a noise when pressed. Light will still come on. I still have voltage everywhere. I just ordered part ap6012603, control panel with membrane. Is this correct? Thank you.
Answer Brandon, This issue sounds like it may be the transformer that is faulty and not the touchpad. You will want to test the transformer on the unit to make sure that it is good. If the transformer is good then this will be a control board issue. The transformer part number is WP9760587 and can be tested by checking for 120 vac at the p16 connector between pins 5 and 7 for 120 vac and if there is power there then test from the p16 pins 2 to 3 for 12 to 24 vac. If there is no power at this point then transformer is bad. If there is power at this point then the control board is faulty. If there is no power at pins 5 to 7 then the control board is faulty.
