The Coated Flat Beater is an OEM replacement part for 5 and 6 Quart KitchenAid stand mixers. This flat beater is responsible for thoroughly incorporating ingredients when mixing or blending recipes.  

Over time and with regular use, the nonstick coating on flat beaters can show wear through scratches or loss of the smooth finish. This decreases their ability to effectively process ingredients while mixing.
