Joey for Model Number wfw8300sw02 My front load washer leaks through buttom of tub n front door. When washing and spining would that mean it needs a new door boot?
Answer Hi Joey.Open the front door and inspect the boot for rips at the bottom or sides. It is common that if the unit was overloaded (poss. tennis shoes) the boot can rip. The boot part # is WPW10111435. The rear boot clamp is part # WP8540108.It also is needed since they only work well enough one time. Now you can remove the lower panel and see where the leak is coming from in case it is not the boot. If a hose may have leaked. Inspect the lower inside of the door glass to see if anything has dried or scratched the glass to allow it to leak. Thank You. Read More...
