Rudy for Model Number MAV6000AWW Maytag model Number MAV6000AWW. Agitation is slow and the water will not drain during the spin cycle. If I reset the spin cycle, than it might spin properly. Also, I notice water behine the machine on the floor.
Answer Rudy, Does the washer make a grinding or chirping noise ? You may have a seizing bearing in the drain pump or a loose impeller. Also check and make sure the motor assembly "slides" free and easy on the base plate assembly, with the drive belt removed.
