Justin C D for Model Number ET8CHNXKQ05 Hi, we recently bought a house that has a Whirlpool top freezer,recently it started to leak water from the inside top right side. I have install a valve stopping the water from entering the the refrigerator, but its still leaking. I look at your site I believe it could be the defrost bi metal valve, is this correct ? Answer Justin, This issue sounds like the drain is clogged and you will want to remove the freezer rear wall and clean out the ice and flush the drain with hot water.
