Dorky Dan for Model Number 110.20722990 What are the SYMPTOMS which would require you to replace the "Drive Block"? I have a machine that washed fine. But when it started the Spin Cycle, it just runs with a slight clicking sound, but does not spin. I pulled the motor and transmission out. The clutch looks fine with no apparent wear or damage. The Coupler looks new also. Hand turning the clutch in one direction, I get agitation with the shaft. Turning the opposite direction I get nothing. I need an education in HOW the spin cycle works and what engages the tub. I'm guessing a reversed motor does it, but I'm not sure where this engages the tub and causes it to spin. What TESTS can I run to help IDENTIFY the problem ... and why it does not spin? Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
Answer Hello Dorky Dan. Remove the agitator and see if the drive block is stripped out on the top of it. You will see metal shavings if so. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, October 22, 2013
