Mario for Model Number LSC8244EQ1 I replaced a broken drive brake cam and a clutch assembly. when I tried to install the transmission the trust washer on the transmission shaft hits the t-bearing on the spin tube before the transmission mounting posts on the base reach the holes on the transmission housing. there is about 1/2" gap and the three screws can't reach the holes on the posts. I have not removed the brake and drive tube assembly. why did the brake cam driver arm broke in the first place. what did I do wrong that it does not get back together. I would really appreciate the answer because I am retired and can't afford to by a new machine.
Answer Mario, If you are hitting the cam on the brake and drive tube then you need to turn this to the proper direction. If you have it turned wrong then the transmission will have the half inch gap and you will need to adjust it so that it slides into place properly. Read More...
