Charles for Model Number WTW4800XQ4 Violent shaking in rinse/spin cycle I have replaced clutch/pulley. Also dampening Rods/tub springs. Leveled unit and always balanced load properly. No grinding noise when spinning drum, but of course with weight of filling tub unable to see if that would produce a check of noisy tub bearing. Do have some water in tub after washer completes cycle, detected if I push down on drum. Thinking of removing drum to see if some thing obstructing or preventing pump from removing all water. Did remove pump and check if dirty or obstructed pump/hoses no obstructions. Actuator was another guess. But this seems to be a related spin symptom. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thank You .. Respectfully .. Charles
Answer Charles, You have a tech sheet in the inner cabinet front left corner. Raise the lid by removing two screws in the back that frees the top cover and slide forward and up. Put the unit into diagnostics and retrieve the error codes. Im thinking possibly slow drain and the water left over throws it out of balance. Could be clothing blocking drain water also. Read More...
