Mark for Model Number RTW4640YQ1 Hello Sirs: My washing machine's agitator doesn't not spin in the "wash" stage , I can hear some "click" sound which seems the controller tries to kick the motor on. Such attempt repeated 2 twice at interval of about 60 seconds. The "Fill" works; "Wash", "Rinse" are completely silent; "Final Spin" only pumped out the water. I have inspected the belt which looks good, I disassembled the Shift Actuator, the 49TZY-110, but if it looks good; I tried to take the drive block to inspect, but lack of the tool. I will try to get tool tomorrow. My questions are: 1) how can I validate if the Shift Actuator is broken? 2) how can I validate if the Drive Block is broken? 3) shall i change both Shift Actuator and Drive Block? 4) is possible the motor is broken? is pump driven by motor? Thank you in advance for help. V/r Mark
Answer Mark, It would be suggested to get the tech sheet on the unit and put the washer into a service diagnostic mode and see if there are any error codes. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, July 28, 2020
