Jim S. for Model Number LSQ9659LW1 Whirlpool Hi, The washer's having a problem at the end of the spin cycle. The brake is not applying much pressure so the basket slows down very slowly and makes a banging sound. The frequency of the sound slows as the basket rotation slows. The noise is louder with larger, or out of balance loads. Opening the lid does not make the basket stop any faster. Appreciate the help!
