Joe for Model Number KAWS677EQ0 Hello and Thanks for taking my ? I had done several large loads and the last was small. Started to fill a small load, went out to the garage, came back in to a room full of smoke. No previous noises or problems. Motor is probably toast :( What would effect a motor, for it to burn out?
Answer Joe, The possibilities are endless, It could be a low voltage problem, a small article stuck between the tubs or an even smaller object stuck in the pump. A seized drain pump or a short in the timer circuits causing the motor to overheat, trying to run in both directions at the same time.
