Ron B for Model Number JGD8430ADB Hi, I need to replace the right front burner ignitor and both screws holding Burner assembly Part Number: AP4098508 snapped off and the screw holding the ignitor snapped off. I can replace the whole burner assembly since it comes with the ignitor. Do I need to drill out the screws that held down the burner assembly. Can I just lay the burner assembly on top of the glass cook top with the broken screws keeping it in place and call it good? Ron
Answer Ron, You would not be able to just lay the burner against the main top. This would leave a space in which gas could escape under the main top. You will either want to drill out the old screws or get a new burner assembly. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Thursday, December 4, 2014
