Steve Replaced burner assembly and screws on cooktop. Had to unplug electrical to ignitors and now when re-assembled and plugged in, all ignitors go on without any knobs being turned. Did I miss something, a reset or something?
Answer Hello Steve, The only time the ignitor should be sparking is if one or more of the start switches are turned on or if the start switch harness is shorted. You should start by verifying no wires are pinched. You can usually test the start switch harness if it is removed from the spark module but we actually need the model number from the units' I.D. tag so we can pull the wiring diagram for specifics on the configuration/design so we can provide you with accurate diagnostic information. Thank you for your patience and understanding in this matter. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Saturday, July 22, 2017
