Joe for Model Number Kenmore 22902100 Kenmore 90 series top load Model 22902100. I can't access the agitator bolt because the cam is in the way. The center portion shows the top of the bolt but the center portion of the cam blocks it all except the tip of the silver bolt. The piece seems to misaligned, the notches don't match up. Are their alternate ways that bolt comes off? or alternate ways the cam comes out? The bottom appears exactly in the video. I can't access this clutch without getting to the bolt first. I can see the dogs are worn too.
Answer Joe, You have a "spring loaded" agitator cam, You will need a 1/2 drive extension to remove the cam assembly and dogs, then you can remove the agitator bolt, and lower agitator, and remove the gearcase to replace the clutch.
