Robert for Model Number MVWX655DW1 The spin cycles do not seem to last long enough and or not fast enough. The water pumps out but the clothes are wet, they need to be rung out before putting in the dryer. Would this mean that I would need a drive clutch kit?
Answer Robert, if there is not an error code that appears when using the diagnostic test mode error retrieval, the hub kit W10528947 and belt WPW10006384 would need to be inspected for any damage or excessive wear. The spin basket would need to be rotated by hand to identify if it is able to spin freely. If it can, the next step would be testing the motor W11283592 windings for resistance and they should measure 5-9.5 Ohms of resistance. If the motor fails, it would need to be replaced.
