Tony for Model Number KUDS01FKSS0 I was replacing the door cables and shorted out the dishwasher pulling it out from the cabinet. After resetting the circuit breaker, I have lights on the control panel, but the dfishwasher is not cycling. I did not test the door latch, but it (and the dishwasher) were working before it shorted out. Any ideas?
Answer Hello Tony, My first guess would be that the installer didn't use a strain relief on the power supply wire to the unit and when you pulled it out, it probably pulled on the wire nuts. I would check the connection and then put the unit into the self diagnostic cycle. If there is an issue at this point, the diagnostics will point you in the right direction. The tech sheet will walk you through this. Initiation of the self-diagnostic procedure is: HI TEMP SCRUB, AIR DRY, HI TEMP SCRUB, AIR DRY Or SANI RINSE, AIR DRY, SANI RINSE, AIR DRY (Note: HI TEMP SCRUB = HI TEMP SCOUR) (Note: AIR DRY = NO HEAT DRY = ENERGY SAVER DRY) Let us know if we can assist you further.
