Jessica for Model Number LSR7233DQ0 I am trying to replace my capacitor as my machine just buzzes/hums loudly and smells a bit like burning after it fills. It wouldn't drain so I drained it myself. The capacitor is corroded/rusty and the prongs snapped off inside the wire connectors. Can I get new wire connectors? The prongs look like they are corroded inside the connector and I can't pull them out, they just tear leaving pieces inside. I'm having trouble telling what part exactly the wire connector to the prong is. Or do I need the entire wiring harness? Also, there is a black "dust" that sort of looks like steel wool. Is this from the Clutch? Should I replace it as well? or from the brake? I really appreciate any help! Jessica
Answer Jessica, You can buy 1/4" terminals and cut the old ones off and splice on the new ones. Also the black that is showing could be cause by bad clutch lining and would be recommended to replace the clutch. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, October 10, 2014
