James for Model Number wtw5200sq0 Washer will only fill, will not agitate, spin or drain. I pulled it apart and checked the pump (found nothing) ran without pump and it worked. Put it back together and washer worked for 2 days then quit again. Pulled it back apart and checked the capacitor. Capacitor omh out fine. Checked coupler, it looked good. put it back together and it worked for a week, then quit again. Could it be the switch? Any suggestions?
Answer James, Yes, you would want to start at the lid switch WP8318084 if the switch is faulty or not making contact properly, the neutral side of the circuit will not be completed and the motor wont run. Also check the lid hinges and sleeves, make sure they aren't worn out or loose and causing too much movement or play in the lid and loosing alignment with the switch. Read More...
