Jennair 2002 Model for Model Number JSD2789GES My refrigerator door is not closing completely, has very little gravity. Freezer side works great. I have to push the refrigerator side close and sometimes the freezer side pops open and self-close. In the part list, it identifies three parts, a hinge pin, and two closers. One closer with a cup (WP6100572) and the other closer without a cup (WP61003647). As I look on the bottom of my refrigerator, the metal square bracket requires a hinge pin, since it is square too and appears that is the only piece that should fit in that slot. Do I need both the closer and if so do they sit/stack on top of each other? And if only one is needed, please let me know which one and the purpose /functionality over the other. Any guidance on the closers would be helpful.
Answer Hello Jennair 2002 Model, You will need to order WP61005724, two WP61003174, 61005726, and two 61003647 for the model provided. You should lubricate these with petroleum jelly, clean the face of the refrigerator cabinet and door seal with antibacterial soap, and try to move heavier items into the unit to prevent excessive wear of the hinge parts from the added weight in the door.
