Hp for Model Number GHW9400PL4 I have a Whirlpool Duet GHW9400PL4 washer that is flashing an F11 code. I tried the diagnostic test but the unit only gets to C02 before stopping and flashing F11. I have checked all CCU connections and the only discrepancy is a 8k ohm reading on the dispenser switch (should be zero). Also, when I check the pressure switch which should have zero ohms on all test points, I get OL ohms reading. Can either of these two issues cause the F11 code or are these just secondary issues? When I test the MCU the motor windings all read 6 ohms as they should and I get 5VDC on the serial wire, and 120 VAC on the supply line to the MCU. During the diagnostic cycle the motor never runs. Is the MCU failed?
Answer HP, The issue with the OL to the pressure switch and the voltage to dispenser motor would be secondary to the F11. With getting power to the MCU but the motor not doing anything and the motor testing good, this would be a motor control failure. The part number for the motor control is W10756692. Read More...
