Larry I have a Kenmore washer model 110.42922200. I changed the pump and tub to pump and drain hoses and ball and seal in the tub to pump hose approximately 6 months ago due to improper drainage at the end of the cycle. I then started getting suds error messages. I opened the drain pump to check for obstructions but everything checked okay. No issues for about a month then I started getting an FH error message, so I changed the level switch. Still kept getting FH error so I replaced the flow meter. Same issue. Called Sears and had a tech come out, he said the fill valve was bad, so I replaced that. Same problem FH error code. So I replaced the CCU. Still getting the same error code. Hose from tub to level switch is connected and clear. Water is flowing through both hot and cold lines. Drain pump appears to be functioning properly. I am out of ideas and have replaced all of the parts that the service manual says could be causing the FH error code?
Answer Hello Larry, If the unit is filling with water the issue could be a stopped up water pressure hose. This can occur in the hose or inside the air dome at the tub end of the hose. Since all parts have been replaced, as long as the new parts were good, the issue will have to be here or in the wiring/connection to the flow meter. Read More...
