Rriedel for Model Number ghw9400pl0 duet OK, so far i have a new drive motor, new tub bearings, new pump motor and the wiring tests good. i pulled the MCU, visually it appears fine, the 1000uF caps. test fine, the relay tests fine, the large pill cap. tests fine, the small pill cap. isn't labled shows 0.93nF, the 100uF canister cap. tests 2.9nF which is out of range and i found a couple resistors i couldn't get a reading on. BUT i don't see anything burnt. any ideas???
Answer Rriedel, What is the issue ? What diagnostic codes are displayed or logged in the memory ? Based on your post, it seems like you have a motor run issue ? Have you checked the wiring harness and connectors between the MCU and the CCU. Here are a couple of checks to make at the CCU: Conn. MS2 pin 1 and pin 2 should have 120 VAC, out to the MCU once the door locks. Conn. MI3 pin 1 to pin 3 should have 5 VDC across the two wires coming back from the MCU. At the MCU, check for 115 to 125 ohms resistance across pin 4 and 5 coming back from the motor. No 120 VAC out, bad CCU or wiring at door switch, No VDC, bad harness or MCU. No resistance, bad tach circuit/motor. Good Luck and Thanks Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Wednesday, December 7, 2011
