Rick for Model Number ghw9300pw4 Getting an f 06 error. Tightening the connectors on the MCU helped for a while but now drum will either not start or stop as it transitions into a faster speed. Verified the following from the connector to the MCU - the motor windings all have 6-7 ohms resistance and the tachometer has ~160 ohms resistinace. When spinning by hand - the tach has ~ 100 hz/rev/second pulses at ~50% duty cycle. Is this enough to verify that the harness and motor are OK and an MCU is needed? Thanks!
Answer Rick, You may want to check for 5 VDC at connector on thew CCU, across M13 pin 3 and M13 pin 1, while the motor is trying to spin. If you have the voltage, then you'll need the CCU. If no DCV is present you'll need to check the M13 harness and or replace the MCU. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, October 22, 2012
