Manufacturer Part Number: W10756692

This motor control board is created for use with washing machines. It's located inside the washing machine, where users can change settings and start or stop the appliance. It is tasked with regulating how quickly the washer spins during a cycle. Wear and tear or damage can cause the motor control board to malfunction. This may make it impossible for the washer to agitate or spin. If this happens, a replacement will need to be made.To replace this part, start by unplugging the appliance. Once the area is safe, the bottom front panel should be removed. This will provide access to the original motor control board. Pull on the motor control board until the wires can be reached. The position of these components should be noted before taking out the part. Replace with a new motor control board and replace the wires. This motor control board is designed to fit washing machines made by Maytag, Whirlpool, Kenmore, and KitchenAid. This is an authentic OEM replacement part that is sourced directly from the manufacturer. It's sold as a single part.

Answer

Larry, There are no "recalls" for your washer at this time. Based on the error codes you supplied (F1 E2 )would indicate a voltage error on the MCU (motor control unit) and F6 E2 indicates a communication error between the CCU(central control unit) and the U/I(user interface). Your first check should be at the wall outlet, Make sure the outlet is a 120 VAC, grounded and polarized outlet. Disconnect the power cord from the outlet, remove the washer top panel and check for any loose connections or wires between the two control boards. When you remove the top panel, you should be able to retrieve the tech data information sheets, and can conduct all the tests and diagnostic programs. If you should need more assistance, please include an e mail address, so we can attach any needed parts or technical information you may need.
