Jen for Model Number gss26c4xxw03 I have replaced water inlet valve and the entire ice maker assembly. The ice maker receives water but will not eject the ice into the bin. When we unplug refrigerator it will dump the ice and refill icemaker.
Answer Jen, This unit has an emitter board and receiver board on it. You will want to check to see if the light on the emitter is flashing and then glowing solid when the flap is pushed. If it continues to flash then either the emitter or receiver is faulty and would need to be replaced. There should be a service diagnostic mode on the tech sheet to determine which is the issue.
