Winks for Model Number 596.73509201

My evaporator use frozen up. had a repairman out to look at it. was told that I need Adaptive Defrost AP4010220. We did manual defrost and was told it would keep temp until this part was replaced or when it freeze up again. that was a day ago and the coldest the frig. has gotten is 43. set to its coldest setting. could there be something else wrong. I put about 800-1000 to fix this thing last year. it got a new condenser, new fans, defrost. I would say that part of the frig was replaced. this was 14m ago. thanks for you time.
