Rob Kaz April 03, 2021 for Model Number MSD2651KEU Compressor keeps running non-stop but temp never gets cool or cold, max cool is about 40 F degrees. Fan near compressor is fine. Fan in freezer area is fine, freezer coils are not cool, nor cold. Compressor warm, but not hot. Both fridge and freezer same temp. Checked capacitor near compressor and it is fine. Exterior/underside evaporation coils clean and clear. Compressor just keeps running without cooling fridge or freezer.

Henry August 13, 2019 for Model Number MSD2641KEU I recently noticed ice build up on the back wall of the freezer. I did some research and decided to replace the defrost sensor and heating element. It seemed to correct the problem but now am not getting any cooling . If the compressor and condenser fan are running and unit is not stuck in defrost mode, ie defrost element not hot, then has the freon leaked out? Compressor is just barely warm to the touch.

David October 06, 2017 for Model Number PSD266LHEW Hi, recently my unit would not cool at proper temps after some diagnostics I felt like the defrost thermostat should be replaced, A huge solid block if ice has formed near the top left of the coils. I replaced the defrost thermostat (from appliancepartspros.com) and the unit worked fine for several days. However now the unit is not cooling to proper temps again but instead of a block of ice there is very thick frost at the same location. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

Tom March 02, 2017 for Model Number Maytag PSD262LHEW Refrigerator and freezer would not cool. Removed control box cover and moved the circuit board inside and the compressor started and both sides cooled. After running for a couple of hours at high setting turned temperature down, would not restart. Again tapped on the circuit board located in the control box in the refrigerator and it started up again with both sides on coldest settings. Has stopped and restarted in the last couple of hours. Plan to run for the next 24 hours to see if stops running.

Stan P January 03, 2017 for Model Number MSD2652KES Refrigerator runs fine for 4 or 5 days then stops cooling. Compressor hot to the touch. I can leave it unplugged for 10 to 12 hours plug it back in and it will run fine again for 4 or 5 days. I've recently changed the start relay and capacitor, still same problem.
