Answer Bob, You will want to test the thermistors in the unit to make sure that at room temperature of 77 degrees they are reading 2.7K ohms of resistance. If they check bad then replace the thermistor. If they are ok then check the condenser to make sure that it is clean and check the condenser fan motor to make sure that it is running.
