John for Model Number 106.57713701 Where is the troubleshooting video to verify that the optic board is the actual problem? My Ice maker will make ice occasionally and not make ice the rest of the time, I was told it is most likely the optic boards but I don't want to buy the part and install if that is not definitely the problem. Also, I have w10757851 as the part # for the optic board kit....is this correct for my model? Thanks, John
Answer John, Open the freezer door and view the diagnostics “status” LED. Two (2) pulses followed by a one (1)second delay (repeated) indicates either the flapper door on the emitter is blocking the beam or the optics are faulty. Press in the emitter flapper door to unblock the optics beam. Two (2) pulses followed by a one (1) second delay (repeated) indicates the Optics W10757851 are faulty.
