Kim for Model Number GBD307PRB01, whirlpool double wall oven, black After several power failures during a blizzard, the oven display panel does not work (no lcd display). The oven light button and the actual light inside the oven both work. Pushing any of the other buttons (on/off/temperature/upper-lower/broil, etc) results in two beeps followed by three beeps but nothing happens in the oven or on the display panel (i.e. no heat, no timer, etc). Do we need to replace just the transformer or just the control board or both? We have tried resetting the breaker/cutting power for several hours, with no success. Any assistance is greatly appreciated! Thanks.
Answer Kim, You will want to access the transformer and check to make sure that there is 120 vac going into the transformer. If there is the check the blue wires coming out of the transformer to make sure that there is 12 to 24 vdc to your control board. If there is not then the transformer WP9760587 will be the issue. If there is proper power to and from the transformer then the control board would be the issue. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Wednesday, May 13, 2015
