Frank C for Model Number gbd307pr01 After an electrical storm the display on my double oven went dim and then went dead. Would your opinion be the control panel, display, or the fuse.. This is a repeat of a question I sent earlier and I was not sure if i enter the right email address because I did not receive an answer.
Answer Frank, If you can hit the display and it beep then the most likely cause would be a transformer that has failed. You can test at the control board on the P16 connector from pins 5 to 7 for 120 vac if there is not 120 vac then check the fuse to make sure that it has continuity. If the fuse checks ok then the control board would be ok. If at the P16 5 to 7 there is 120 vac then you will want to test pins 2 to 3 for 24 vdc. If there is not proper power then the transformer is defective and would need replaced. If there is power then the control board is defective. The part number for the transformer is WP9760587, the fuse WPW10638608, and the control board WPW10438750. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Wednesday, July 1, 2015
