Steve for Model Number rbd245prb00 I had a power surge and it looks like the suppressor was burnt. Oven was not in use. Best to replace just the suppressor? Separate issue prior to the surge. Top and bottom oven would heat up but not to programmed temp. Programmed for 325 would heat up to 240. I put a manual thermometer in to monitor. Increased the programmed themp to 400 would heat up to 300. Then not hold and maybe heat up later to 400. Very erratic. Same symptom top and bottom. I have pulled the control panel, nothing wrong visibally. Could be relays? What do you suggest?
Answer Steve, For the issue of the suppressor you will need to replace it but there is an out side chance the main control board could have been affected. As for the temp issue, you will want to test the oven sensor for 1090 ohms at room temp. If it is off then the sensor would need replaced. Read More...
