Glenn I have an double whirlpool oven RBD305PRB00 no display the buttons beep oven light comes on i turned off power for a while turned back on still no lights oven heated up then turned back off buttons still beep. Is this the control board.
Answer Glenn, You will want to test the transformer on the unit to make sure that it is good. If the transformer is good then this will be a control board issue. The transformer part number is WP9760587 and can be tested by checking for 120 vac at the p16 connector between pins 5 and 7 for 120 vac and if there is power there then test from the p16 pins 2 to 3 for 12 to 24 vac. If there is no power at this point then transformer is bad. If there is power at this point then the control board is faulty. If there is no power at pins 5 to 7 then the control board is faulty.
